Why housing teams stay

Three things we get right.

Housing recruitment depends on context. The Regulator of Social Housing's standards. The realities of patch work. The empathy resident-facing roles need.

One consultant per client

The consultant who takes your brief is the one who delivers the shortlist, briefs candidates, runs the offer and follows up after start. No handoffs, no junior researchers running blind on senior briefs.

7-10 day shortlist

Most housing briefs see a first qualified shortlist within a fortnight. Senior, niche or specialist briefs may take longer, and we will tell you upfront so you can plan around it.

Replacement guarantee

Every permanent placement carries a free replacement period. If a hire does not stick within the agreed window, we re-run the search at no charge.

How we work

From first call to first day.

A clear three-step process. No drawn-out kick-offs, no dropped balls.

01

Sector-aware brief

A 30-45 minute call. Patch, role focus, regulator framing, salary band, timeline. We confirm in writing.

02

Targeted shortlist

We tap our network and active candidates, vet, interview and rank. You see a tight, qualified shortlist with our written notes.

03

Offer and onboarding

We coordinate the offer, manage counter-offer pressure, line up the start date and check in on day 7, 30 and 90.

Common questions

Questions housing employers ask.

How quickly will I see a shortlist?
Most housing briefs receive a first qualified shortlist within 7-10 working days. Senior, niche or specialist briefs may take a fortnight or longer, and we will tell you upfront.
Do you understand the social housing regulator?
Yes. We brief candidates on the Regulator of Social Housing's consumer and economic standards, brief them on the consequences of poor compliance, and check that the brief sits comfortably within those standards.
How do your fees work?
We work on a percentage of first-year base salary, agreed in writing before any candidate is introduced. Rates depend on level and the role's specialism.
What does the replacement guarantee cover?
If a placed hire leaves or is dismissed within the agreed period, we re-run the search free of charge. The window is usually 8-12 weeks for most roles, longer for senior hires.
Do you cover front-line and senior roles?
Yes. From housing officers and repairs coordinators through to directors of housing and asset management. The brief, vetting and follow-up process is the same.
What information do you need to start?
A job description (or notes), salary band, target start date and one decision-maker we can speak to. We can build the rest of the brief on a 30-45 minute call.
