Permanent housing-sector recruitment, built around residents and homes.
Mon-Fri 8am-7pmUK-wide

Why we exist

Housing is its own world. The standards set by the Regulator of Social Housing matter. The way a tenancy officer manages a difficult patch matters. The empathy a customer service officer brings to a complaint matters. Generalist agencies miss those details and waste your time. Radian Jobs was set up to put housing recruitment in the hands of people who know what they are looking at.

We are a UK permanent recruitment partner for housing associations, registered providers and property businesses. Our desk runs on one belief: a hire only counts if they are still in seat at six months and serving residents well. That outcome starts with the brief, not the CV pile.

What we do, plainly

We place permanent housing-sector staff for UK employers. Tenancy, repairs, surveying, allocations, income, customer service, asset management and executive housing leadership. From front-line patch officers to directors of operations.

The roles we recruit into:

  • Housing Officers and patch-based neighbourhood officers
  • Tenancy Managers and ASB specialists
  • Repairs Coordinators, schedulers and maintenance planners
  • Property Surveyors: stock condition, voids, damp/mould, building surveying
  • Asset Managers and planned-investment leads
  • Customer Service Officers and complaints handlers
  • Allocations Officers and choice-based lettings administrators
  • Income Officers, rent accounting and welfare advisors
  • Estate Officers, caretakers and scheme managers
  • Housing Directors and heads of operations

Who we work for

Our clients are housing associations of all sizes, registered providers, ALMOs, local-authority housing teams, large managing agents and property businesses. The hiring managers we work with are mostly housing directors, heads of operations, asset directors and HR business partners who would rather spend less time on recruitment and more time running their teams.

How we vet candidates

  • Right-to-work verification
  • DBS check coordination where the role calls for it
  • Reference contact, current and previous employer where possible
  • Qualification verification (CIH membership, ARLA, RICS where applicable)
  • A structured competency conversation with sector-specific scenarios
  • Written capture of salary expectations, notice period, motivation

Nothing reaches your shortlist that we have not stood behind.

How we think about a placement

A successful housing placement is not a CV submission. It is the moment six months later when the new hire is in seat, on top of their patch or portfolio, getting the regulator's standards right and improving the resident experience. That is the only outcome we measure ourselves against.

Our values, the short version

  • Take the brief seriously. A 30-45 minute call up front saves you a fortnight on the back end.
  • Tell the truth. If the salary is below market, we say so. If a candidate is not the right fit, we will not pretend.
  • One consultant per client. One named consultant takes the brief, vets the candidates, runs the offer, follows up at day 7, 30 and 90.
  • Stand behind the work. Free replacement period on every permanent placement. No small print.
  • Sector-aware vetting. Right-to-work, DBS, qualifications, references and motivation, all checked before introduction.
